Reverse Transfer: A National View of Student Mobility

The National Student Clearinghouse is pleased to announce the summer 2012 release of our third Signature Report, “Reverse Transfer: A National View of Student Mobility from Four-Year to Two-Year Institutions.” Dr. Doug Shapiro, Executive Research Director, discusses some of the key report findings on reverse transfer students in U.S. institutions, which examined six years of data on 1.2+ million students who enrolled in fall 2005. The research arm of the nonprofit National Student Clearinghouse, the Research Center produces accurate longitudinal data outcomes reporting that enables better educational policy decisions leading to improved student outcomes. The Signature Report series is jointly produced by the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center and the Project on Academic Success at Indiana University and is supported by a grant from the Lumina Foundation.
